Wendy Hall Pull Quotes
Wendy Hall is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southampton, UK. She was the University's first female professor of engineering, and in 2002, she became Head of the School of Electronics and Computer Science until 2007. She founded the University of Southampton's Reasearch Group, Intelligence, Agents, and Multimedia, and she is also a founding director of the Web Science Research Initiative, a joint initiative between the University of Southampton and MIT. Wendy was elected President of the Association of Computing Machinery, serving from July 2008 through June 2010. She was President of the British Computer Society from 2003 to 2004, and currently she is the Vice President of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
